Alumni Career Chats: Turning Creativity into a Salary

Oct 27, 2020 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Registration Deadline: Oct 27, 2020 11:00 AM

•    Interested in bringing your creativity into the workplace?
•    Curious about careers in film or storytelling?
•    Wondering whether a post-grad is right for you?

Tanya Hoshi (BA '13, Cinema Studies and Sociology) hosts this small-group interactive session. Tanya is an award-winning producer based in Toronto. When she graduated with her BA, she knew that she loved bringing narrative and imagination to life in film. She took a college program to get more hands-on learning, leveraged every opportunity to build her experience, and was able to break into the industry.  She has managed to find a way to bring her passion for storytelling into a steady job and still is able to pursue projects on the side.

This is an open session (i.e. there will be no presentation) and will be based on the questions raised from the group. Attendance is capped to ensure participants have the space to share their questions.

This registration is for the live event. If you cannot attend or want a copy of the recording, please register here and you will be emailed when the recording is available.
