Social Justice Music Workshop: Latin Drumming and Percussion

Explore the hands-on basics of drumming and a selection of different rhythms with Rodrigo Chavez. No experience with percussion necessary! All U of T students welcome! Please have a plastic bowl, chopsticks or cutlery and a pot! Enjoy the fun and bang out any frustrations!

Rodrigo Chavez is the Artistic Director of Cassava Latin Band. He composes contemporary Latino-Canadian music, exploring the rich variety of Latin Rhythms and performing on different stages around Canada and the USA.

The group meets weekly on Mondays 7 - 8 pm. Drop in to one or all!
