Are you feeling socially isolated? Having a hard time in your relationships? Do you find it hard to tell people what you need, how their actions are affecting you, or putting your needs over those of others? This workshop is part of a four-part workshop series to support making and sustaining healthy connections in your life inside and outside of school! Join us for an interactive exploration of skills and strategies to feel more connected to and at ease with others.
In this workshop, Communication for Building and Maintaining Better Boundaries, you will learn about communication styles and how they might impact your relationships (e.g., professors, partner), and the relationship between our own feelings and boundaries.
Attend this workshop to learn about:
- Relationship boundaries and how to identify associated feelings and needs
- Communicate more effectively, using a how-to template
- Ways of balancing personal needs and the needs of others
- John Power, Wellness Counsellor, MSW, RSW
