Ever feel like you don't deserve to be at university? That your identity is not valued and does not belong here?
In this workshop we will explore how the university can feel like a site of exclusion for marginalized identities that are underrepresented within academia and how that can impact learning and engagement for students. We will discuss some of the common ways that that identity can impact learning in the student experience and discuss learning strategies that can lessen the impact of these feelings.
