Please note that this session will feature Maximizing Mentorship's two synchronous workshops: Reciprocity & Expectations AND Goal Setting & Ending a Mentorship.

Maximizing Mentorship is a series of 3 workshops that aim to support students in building skills so they can benefit from the mentorship experience. The 3 workshops in this series include:

  • Defining Mentorship Roles: an asynchronous training* focused on identifying the role of mentors and mentees
  • Reciprocity & Expectations: the first workshop of the synchronous series which discusses the importance of reciprocity and communicating expectations in a mentoring relationship
  • Goal Setting & Ending a Mentorship: the second workshop of the synchronous series concentrated on exploring strategies to help mentees make the most of and feel comfortable in their experience
*The asynchronous training titled Defining Mentorship Roles is to be completed by the mentee when convenient (through CLNx Program Tracker), followed by the completion and submission of a post-workshop reflection exercise.
