This series touches on the systemic struggles of succeeding academically as a racialized person. The sessions will be a safe space for students to speak about their own experiences, as peer facilitators help share strategies to overcome these challenges.
Navigating Academics as a Racialized Person: Feeling Like an Imposter
Are you a racialized person feeling like an imposter at U of T? Academics on their own can often leave students feeling isolated, but these experiences are often amplified for students who have to overcome systemic barriers. This session is a space for students to talk about their own experiences in feeling like an imposter, and discuss how to lessen the intensity of such feelings.
