Getting clear enough about your research to explain what it is -- and why it matters -- within three minutes, compellingly, and to someone not in your field, is a potent critical-thinking activity for any grad student in a research stream; making the effort to develop a concise narrative about your research and its impacts forces you to precisely understand and define your academic path. This session is for students competing in U of T's 2024 3MT, to be able to get input on how to effectively craft an engaging narrative and to do dry-run practice with feedback on you presentation from a learning strategist, communications specialist, and 3MT-coachee-winning coach.
