Graduate Students - Co-Working & Accountability Space: Maintain Career Momentum

Jul 15, 2024 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM

Registration Deadline: Jul 15, 2024 02:32 PM

This is a small group session for Masters and PhD students and postdocs to provide structured accountability to move forward with your career goals. Whether you are just beginning to explore career options or are actively applying for jobs, you will have support to maintain momentum or get unstuck.

Session Structure:

  • 30 minutes: Group advising to discuss networking strategies and respond to questions
  • 10 minutes: SMART Goal setting for our time together. All participants expected to post their goals in the chat; these won't be read or discussed, but the very act of posting them helps with accountability.
  • 45 minutes: Focused co-working toward career goals. Career Education staff will be available for brief (10 minute) 1:1 consultations on career questions.
  • 5 minutes: Reflection on successes (in the chat) and brief informal discussion and check-out

What you need to know:
  • Ensure you register! Registration will close by 9am on the day of the workshop. You will receive the link and instructions for accessing the online session.
