Graduate Students - Work on Your Career: Co-working and Accountability Space

Nov 22, 2024 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Registration Deadline: Nov 22, 2024 09:00 AM

Join our small co-working group sessions for master's and PhD students and postdocs designed to help you focus on career-related activities in a supportive environment. A co-working group is a shared online environment where individuals work alongside each other while benefiting from the presence and energy of others. Whether you're just starting to explore career options or actively applying for jobs, this is a great time to set aside to make progress on your career goals.

What to Expect:

  • Two 45-minute blocks of concentrated work time: Dedicated time for you to concentrate on career activities like researching job opportunities, writing resumes, or preparing for interviews.
  • Structured Accountability: Being in a group setting helps keep you on track and motivated. Everyone in the group holds each other accountable by sharing goals at the beginning and reporting back with our progress at the end of the session. You are welcome to share on camera in or in the chat, in whatever way you are most comfortable.
  • Career Support: Get support in getting started or getting unstuck in a brief breakout room consultation with a Career Education staff member.
