Interfaith Friendship Circles: Ching Kwok Buddhist Temple

Description: Join us in celebrating 2023 Lunar New Year and visiting a Buddhist Temple through our Interfaith Friendship Circles program. We will first be given a tour of the temple and then attend Dharma service (which starts promptly at 10 am). Students are welcome to participate in the service or may quietly observe on the side.
About the Program: On a monthly basis each academic term, the Multi-Faith Centre will have mini-trips to local sites of worship and engage in interfaith work.
Location: We will meet at the lobby of the Koffler House (569 Spadina Avenue), where the Multi-Faith Centre is located and walk over together to Ching Kwok Buddhist Temple (300 Bathurst St). The walk over is about 20 minutes.
Time: Please meet us promptly at 8:50 am at the Koffler House. Activities at Ching Kowk Buddhist Temple are expected to end by noon.
Requirements: In respect to the Ching Kwok Buddhist Temple's request, we ask that everyone wear a mask while inside the temple building, and that clothing attire avoids revealing clothes and large holes.
