safeTALK is a 4-hour training designed to ensure that people with thoughts of suicide are connected to helpers who are prepared to provide first-aid interventions. This workshop is offered as part of the University of Toronto's priority to develop mental health awareness among students, staff and faculty, to create supportive and inclusive conditions for all students to flourish, and to reduce the stigma associated with mental health challenges.
