Mentoring 101
Please Note: This is part 1 of Mentorship Foundations a 3 part training program - you can take all 3 parts in one day or spread them across a number of weeks but you must register for each part separately.
This is an introduction to mentoring, mentorship, the role of the mentor and knowing the Division of Student Life Resources available on St. George campus.
Students will be able to:
- Define what mentorship is
- Explain the difference between sharing experience and giving advice
- Identify and communicate boundaries
- Stay current, connect and refer mentees to resources and opportunities
