This webinar is for all high school educators/guidance counsellors and community partners who work with students with disabilities (as well as prospective students, families and supporters) looking to learn more about how accommodations are implemented in post-secondary education.

The event is scheduled from 12 - 3pm (Eastern Time) on Wed. April 28 and will cover a range of topics for incoming/prospective students living with disabilities including:

  • An introduction to Accessibility Services and accommodations
  • Registration & documentation requirements
  • A Student Panel with information & tips
  • Accessibility Advisors and how they work with students
  • Preparation for university life & learning--and differences from high school
  • Opportunities and resources for peer connections & support
Participants will receive an overview/more details as well as the link to join online about one week prior to the event. If multiple members from the same school are planning to join, please only complete a separate form if you will be using more than one device to join.
