Moving Forward offers multiple opportunities/dates to enroll, with some programming days specifically designed with certain populations in mind (those events/dates will clearly specify if there is a programming focus).

Format: These events, taking place on Monday, August 29th and Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, will be hybrid and take place from 9:00AM-3:00PM each day. Students will be able to choose to either join us virtually over Zoom or in person. The event will include multiple sessions with both large group and breakout room opportunities. Breaks will be incorporated in the event. Students are encouraged to attend the full two days of programming to make the most of event. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the registration process, next steps, and other questions related to the transition to post-secondary education.

Participation: Being on camera, using your mic, or participating in the chat are all optional. We welcome you to participate in a way that works for you. You are welcome to ask your own questions or simply observe these sessions to learn from ongoing discussions.

Materials: You are not required to bring any materials to these sessions, but we encourage you take notes if this works best for you. We encourage students to watch our prerecorded Transition Day video series to help frame the day.

Platform access information: This event will be delivered both in person and using Zoom. Students will have the opportunity to choose how they would like to attend. If joining virtually, please ensure your Zoom access is up to date to make the most of this session. For information and guidance on how to set up and use Zoom, please check the Zoom website and tutorials (e.g., how to join meetings, meeting controls, breakout rooms, closed captioning, etc.).
