October is Islamic Heritage Month in October in Canada. Join us for a tour of the Aga Khan Museum to learn more about Islamic civilizations. This event is in partnership with the Centre for International Experience (CIE) and the Multi-Faith Centre.
In addition to joining a guided tour of the museum's permanent collections, you will participate in a one-hour guided gallery tour focusing on geometric patterns and designs found within the Museum collections. Then, during the one-hour workshop, you will learn how to read geometric designs before creating two of your own.
This event is open to all students. The cost of the museum admission fee is covered, except TTC fares (single fare of $3.35 per adult with cash; $3.30 per adult with PRESTO) to and from the Aga Khan Museum. Space is limited! Registered participants will be contacted the day before the event and given location details.
