Would you like to meet with different people and explore new cultures? Join the kickoff sessions to connect with peers this Winter term!

In this session, you will be introduced to your intercultural connection group members and learn more about the Intercultural Learning Program (ILP). We will have fun social activities for you to engage with one another and establish expectations within the group. Then you will get to plan a fun intercultural outing for the group this fall while making connections. All U of T students are welcome to join!

The ILP is a way to build your intercultural skills and awareness through a series of workshops that focus on how cultures and cultural identities influence the way we communicate, make connections, and build communities with others. The ILP is Co-Curricular Record (CCR) eligible program. To receive CCR recognition, you must attend and engage in all five sessions, participate in an experiential outing, and complete an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment and debrief session. You can choose to join one of the two cohorts or participate in the sessions depending on your interests and availability.

This workshop is part of the Intercultural Learning Program (ILP). Learn more about the Intercultural Learning Program by visiting the Center for International Experience - Programs & Events webpage (Under the "Develop" tab) and find out how the program works to get Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognition.

If you have questions or accommodation requests, please feel free to contact You Jia Lee (youjia.lee@utoronto.ca).
