Meet Tracey Watkins
Tracey began her career in the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) and loves to share her story and opportunities within CBSA with post-secondary students in the GTA.

The Canada Border Services Agency takes pride in being one of the largest employers of students in the public service. Our students play an integral role at the Agency in jobs that support front line operations.We hire students not only as student border services officers but to work in all areas of the organization including information technology, strategic policy, human resources, finance, accounting and much more. Attend this session to learn more about these and uniformed CBSA positions and to help you prepare for the next hiring cycle.
You will also hear about the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP). This program includes thousands of jobs within the Government of Canada and job inventories for student border services officers, Indigenous people and people with disabilities.

About the Organization
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) facilitates the flow of legitimate travellers and trade. The Agency also enforces more than 90 acts and regulations that keep our country and Canadians safe. We have a wide variety of jobs from coast to coast, in diverse fields, such as administration, agriculture, communications, enforcement, finance, IT, policy, and many more.
Students work in offices and laboratories, on ships and farms, at historical sites and national parks, among many other locations, in more than 300 cities and towns across Canada.
