An exclusive opportunity for equity-deserving students and new graduates to connect with representatives from 10 organizations in a welcoming environment.

Date: Wed, November 1, 2023
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: IMI Rotunda (Kaneff building)

Registration is required. Limited spots are available.

Why Attend

  • Build connections with recruiters, hiring managers, and alumni from 10 organizations recognized for their diversity and inclusiveness. 
  • Learn about the organizations' work environment and recruitment processes, while participating in mutual learning through open communication.
  • Meet like-minded individuals and get access to job opportunities and new knowledge in a safer, welcoming space.
  • Breakfast will be provided.

Who Can Attend

The event is open to all University of Toronto students and recent graduates who self-identify as people from equity-deserving groups. This includes individuals who may experience discrimination or harassment based on social identities, including but not limited to race, ethnic origin, gender expression, sex and/or sexual orientation, disability, and other. All are welcome!

Students and recent graduates from all programs and years of study are welcome to attend.

This is a safer space where honest conversations are welcome.
 

Agenda

  •   9:40 AM - Students can start signing in and get breakfast. Informal networking
  • 10:10 AM - Opening remarks (5 min)
  • 10:15 AM - Introduction of the attending organizations (20 min)
  • 10:35 AM - Speed networking in small groups - three rounds (45 min)
  • 11:20 AM - Open networking (40 min)
  • 12:00 PM - Conclusion of the event
 

Registration

Registration is required. Hurry up - limited spots are available. 

All registered students/graduates will receive information on the attending organizations, their representatives, and networking tips prior to the event.

There is no dress code for this event.
