Registration Deadline: Jun 9, 2020 11:00 AM
Think insurance is boring? Think again. We're at the forefront of today's game changers – big data, the sharing economy, cannabis, autonomous vehicles, cyber security, and, yes... even global pandemics!
There's also tremendous variety in the career paths that are available – Risk Analysis, Business Development, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Sales and Service, Data Analytics, HR, IT and more. And... we need to cultivate our talent pipeline! 25,000+ of our workforce are eligible to retire in the next 5 – 10 years. We are looking for talented, motivated, and creative students from a variety of disciplines. There is a place for you in this exciting and inclusive industry!
Join us at this virtual networking event for an overview of what the industry has to offer and engagement with some of the top industry employers. This niche style virtual networking event will ensure you broaden your understanding of careers in insurance, get your questions answered, and that you have the chance to meet with each employer in attendance.
Please note: this is not a hiring event, but rather a great opportunity to network and learn more about the industry. Reps will discuss their own career journey, their role and how it fits into the insurance ecosystem. You'll also learn about the benefits of a career in insurance, emerging trends and issues, what it's like working for their company and tips on how to get connected to a role in the industry.
Space is limited. Register today to reserve your space.
A wait list will be available once this session is full, in case we are able to increase capacity.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. A link to the Zoom session will be emailed to all registrants approx. 24 hours in advance of the networking event.
2. Optional prep session -- You may wish to listen to the recording of Networking in a Remote World (was offered by the Insurance Institute of Canada on May 22) to help you prepare for networking virtually (optional).
