MLA is common citation and formatting style in several disciplines across academia (including: English and English Studies - Language and Literature, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Literary Criticism, Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, Arts and Art History, and related). If your professor has indicated that you need to use MLA for your term paper, come to this workshop and ensure you know the essentials of this citation and formatting style. This will also benefit students who have courses that require MLA in the future.
