Reading Skills for Academic Success Workshop
Without an adequate level of academic vocabulary, it would be impossible to complete academic tasks. All students must develop a large vocabulary to succeed in university-level reading, writing, listening, speaking, and communicating. In this session, students will learn key strategies to quickly acquire the level of vocabulary needed to thrive in the academic context. This session is especially useful to multilingual learners and/or any students who wish to gain greater competence in Academic English.
