To become a good writer, you need to be a good reader - these two skills may seem separate, but they are deeply intertwined. This session prioritizes specific strategies for understanding course materials, with an emphasis on decoding and deconstructing complex texts for greater and deeper comprehension. Interactive group activities and targeted guidance will help students develop and improve healthy organizing practices like mind-mapping and conceptual outlining.
