Jul 15, 2020 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM

Registration Deadline: Jul 15, 2020 09:00 AM

Workshop Description: As much of our work and student life has been moved online, how can we team build and make connections with a screen between us? What do group dynamics look like in a virtual world? This workshop will examine group development theories and how they relate to student groups, organizations and teams. You will explore group dynamics and reflect on how a better understanding of these topics might improve both your leadership and communication skills to use within your personal, professional and academic lives. Participants will engage in discussions around effective team building, share ideas about utilizing new platforms, and discuss creative ways for teams to connect and build community in an increasingly virtual world.
