This workshop teaches peer mentors about effective coaching techniques, academic skills provided by the 5-part Starter Kit, and how to use them to address the most frequent academic obstacles that students face.
Students will be able to:
- Apply questioning and active listening techniques
- Explain five major strategies to foster academic success
- Formulate personalized and suitable suggestions for students to try out
