Hart House Land Restoration Project Invasives Removal

Tuesday, July 23, 10AM-4.30PM

Join us for a social day of learning and caring for the land at the beautiful Hart House Farm! This free event is a great opportunity to care for Mother Earth and our plant and animal kin led by Indigenous Youth, local conservation groups, and folks from U of T. In this workshop, we will learn to identify and safely remove buckthorn, to improve the health of the land, forest, plants and animals. We'll provide FREE food, snacks and beverages (vegan/vegetarian and nut-free). Free return bus transportation is available, leaving at 9 am from St. George Campus, arriving back around 5.30 to 6 pm. All tools, and materials will be provided. The event will run from 10-4.30 pm with breaks for lunch and to spend some time relaxing in the space. For more information and registration here
